Tapping In: The Beauty of New Experiences

If you’re following this blog, or if you somehow stumbled onto this post, then you know I am all about pouring into myself and staying full and fulfilled.


Over the past couple of years, I have been immersing myself in the wellness community, exploring everything from meditation and sound healing to breathwork, yoga and even microdosing. As a night owl, waking up early to attend these events is definitely a challenge sometimes, but the benefits afterward are immeasurable.


So when I saw my favorite yogi was hosting an immersive yoga + breathwork session, annnnd I was actually free that day, I did not hesitate to sign up.


It is through her that I have become so much more comfortable with yoga. The way she teaches, even at a novice level, makes it so easy to flow from pose to pose with confidence.

So, have you heard of AirBnB Experiences? The extent of my AirBnb experience has been booking a house, or staying in a house for a group trip. I am still very much a hotel girlie. Well, it turns out, they are now connecting people with unique local experiences too. Who knew?! So Airbnb reached out to my fav yogi and now she is hosting these experiences every Saturday.


Firstly, just being around her is amazing. Her energy and aura are so whole and nurturing, and she pours that same energy into her classes/sessions. Being around people whose energies align with mine is like a dopamine hit every single time.


Then there is the physical side of it, stretching my body, challenging myself and building strength through each yoga pose. She ended the session with breathwork, which is such a simple yet beautiful practice that I’m so glad I’ve learned.


I am constantly in awe of the human body, and breathwork reminds me of how accessible it is to tap into another vibration, another energy or an entirely new frame of mind.
